- I believe that the Bible is the written, authoritative word of God, and that it is without error. It is sufficient for all areas of life, and must be fully believed and obeyed. Nothing should be added to it or taken away from it.
- I believe in the one true God of the Bible, who exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. I believe that God is the Creator of all things and that He is sovereign over all things.
- I believe that, as a result of Adam’s sin, all mankind is guilty of sin and is alienated from God. The only way to avoid God’s wrath is to be reconciled through the saving work of Jesus Christ, who died in our place to pay the penalty for our sins. By confessing our sin and placing our faith in Christ, we can receive forgiveness.
- I believe that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, truly God yet truly man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, yet was crucified and buried. He rose on third day, then ascended to heaven where He sits at the right had of God the Father, making intercession for us. He died on the cross in our place, offering Himself as a perfect sacrifice to atone for our sin.
- I believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. His role is to convict people of their sin and to create faith in unbelievers so that they would be saved. He also indwells, guides, equips, and empowers believers to serve God and other and to live in a manner pleasing to God.
